Merci (pronounced Mercy) AKA Merce and Mercedes has been my friend since my freshman year of high school. So a very long time. Merci has a laugh that, if you hear it from across the room you turn to see what she's laughing at. There's something naughty in her laugh. You know how you have that friend who knows you, your family and your issues inside and out? Yep, that's Merci. I can almost abbreviate my thoughts and she gets it without the need to clarify. She doesn't call me out when I'm lying to myself, she just looks at me and smiles. I know she knows. So, I have to call myself out. Darn it! Everything with Merci is easy.
