My mother and I designed these center cut shell earrings. We decided to name them Anne after the inspiring diarist, Anne Frank. I'm sure you know that Anne documented her family's life hiding under Nazi persecution in an Amsterdam attic (for two years). Anne died at age 15 in a concentration camp in Germany.
Anne's diary was published two years after her death and became a classic of war literature.
