I name my jewelry after women who inspire me. I named this pendant Hattie after my father's grandmother. She raised her six children on her own. Her husband was an adventurer, was gone a lot, and she was left to provide and care for her small children. She was an incredible seamstress. She made clothes for everyone in the family, bridal gowns! I was very little when Hattie (I knew her as "Gangy") passed. I remember her sweet smile. I love how family and care was so important to her.
