I named this chain necklace after my grandmother, Dorothy. She was always smiling. Warm and loving. Her husband, my grandfather had a large garden in their backyard. I remember sitting at the kitchen table of their house in a small town in Iowa, watching her wash the freshly picked vegetables. She would wash the tomatoes and cut them for me. We'd sit at the table and enjoy them, together. I remember her humming a lot. She'd hum songs I didn't know, but always did it with a smile and a wink.
